Transfer of Credit Policy

When considering transfer credits to one of InovaTech’s programs, the best interests of the students will be kept in mind. The evaluation of transferable credits will be implemented in a fair, reasonable, and consistent basis. The main criteria that will be used when transferring credits is the quality of the credits earned relative to the comparability and applicability to the InovaTech’s program in which the student seeks enrollment.

TRANSFER OF CREDIT INTO IT CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
It is the policy of InovaTech that students can transfer credits into the InovaTech programs by the following means: from programs/degrees previously attended with InovaTech online or in the traditional classroom, and/or with other institutions, and through passing the certification exams corresponding to the classes in the InovaTech certificate programs. If students wish to receive credits for awarded certifications, they must provide copies of the certification exam(s) score reports or the copies of the certification card.

At InovaTech, we understand that it is in the best interest of each student to transfer as many credits as possible into the InovaTech program. No more than 3 credit hours can be transferred into the Network Administrator, System Administrator and Enterprise Engineer programs. Credits can be transferred towards these programs through passed certification exams or previous attendance of the exact course before. Official transcripts and copies of score reports must be provided to prove eligibility for the transfer of credits. No more than 30% of the total clock hours for the Project Management Program may be earned through credit by examination, portfolio credit, or transfer credit from other schools. At least 70% of the total clock hours for any certificate must be earned through InovaTech College of Business & Technology.

TRANSFER OF CREDIT POLICY INTO CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES
No credits will be transferred into a continuing education course or group of courses.
